Because there human relationships suck

Overpaying my account

Nothing has happened yet. I was going to call the BBB but have not done so as of yet. I am going to contact ACIMA on November 01st to give them the chance to rectify this issue before I do call the BBB.

Billing

I had a payment scheduled for October 22, 2021 I called 2 days before the date to move my date up which I was told that my next bill will be due November 9th and it would be $165. After doing all of this giving confirmation they still made 2 attempts to take out the funds when I already switched dates now this means it will be added fees onto my account can somebody please handle this immediately!

Pissed customer

I called to let yall know I was going to try and catch my payments up to take it off auto draft. I had surgery on my knees and had been off work. When I called to let yall know about this you seemed to understand. I told them when I was suppose to go back to work and that I would make a payment . Well unfortunately I wasnt able to start back when I thought. When I called and told them to not do the auto draft I was told there was nothing they could do which I know better. I bought one set of tires with yall and never missed a payment . Then I got another set and hard times hit me. But I got the impression yall didnt care. I almost lost my truck due to the fact the auto pay was taken. Yall are not the only ones I owe because of my time off work. I am trying to follow a schedule so that everyone gets something till I get caught up.

I am totally disappointed with this company. Part of the reason is I did not read the fine print, and it was not spelled out for me! I purchased some used furniture from Pop's Attic for a total of approximately $1,000. Paying 273.00 monthly and falling from working full time to retirement and on a monthly budget. I was not able to meet the 90 days same as cash. I called and I owed around $500.00. The option to me at that time was to pay an additional $100.00 and pay the $600.00 in seven days! NOW I AM PAYING $3,000 + FOR USED FURNITURE! I ALSO ASKED IF I COULD REDUCE MY MONTHLY PAYMENTS TO PAY A LONGER TERM AND THE ANSWER WAS NO!

User's recommendation: Do not go over the 90 days same as cash because they will not compromise and do not take your present conditions in regards.

90 day same as cash is a SCAM

Within 30 days of opening the account I paid the amount on their website to pay the account off in full. 5 months later, they start taking payments out again. I called several times, and they stated the payment I made was $60 short of the payoff amount and to pay it off now would be over $1100 in interest. I believe their website is fraudulently indicating a slightly less amount in order for them to collect thousands in interest after the 90 days are up. It should be illegal for them to charge 150% in interest for a 12 month term to begin with.

I would like them to confirm that their website provided an inaccurate payoff amount and consider my account paid in full.

Poor Business Practices

Not interested in resolving issues. CSR's do not listen. Unethical business practices. Unauthorized deduction withdrawals. Portal does not work to allow the option to see payment history, deductions or account activity. Read contract 1st do not attempt to pay per month. Charges will be excessive. No your rights. Keep all documentation. Be persistent and inquire about each charge. Beware if paying in advance they will try to double collect and come up with 2 or 3 day clause that allows them authorization to charge you again. Demand charges be reversed out of account. Never stop asking for a supervisor, they do not want to resolve your issue.

Over charging Consumers

Acima lets you know that you can lease for a certain amount and there will be a balance. BUT, if you do not use all the lease they expect you to lease another lease agreement This is very complicated to consumers because you end of making two payments and they want to pay TEN payments on a lease you only used 300.00 they is FAIR CREDIT!!! Because why you have to pay them TEN Payments of a lease you only used 300.00 of. Very INSANE..And It needs to be reported to THE UNITED STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL OR INSPECTOR GENERAL, OR SONE ONE FTC etc THEY ARE JUST ROBBING PEOPLE THANK YOU
