There is an amount of money in my credit report but that money i don't own that money.

In my credit report says that I own more than 2,000 dollars. I don't own any money to this company.

I purchased a living room set from Liams furniture for approximately 2000 dollars .. Acima Credit charged me double the price of the set ...I filed a complaint with the Attorney general's office but they said because I signed the agreement Acima could change me double the price ..

At no time did Liams furniture or Acima Credit explain they were charging double the price for the furniture .. I never would have agreed to purchase the furniture ...

Purchased couch as a 90 day same as cash. Terms were changed by 100% without being told.

Was told the couch was a lease and not a purchase...this is not was agreed to. Told them to pick up couch...they refused....offered suggestion of donating to charity....not an option during corona virus.....then offered pay off.

they dinged my credit which is being disputed....agreed to settle to be done with this aweful company for a letter stating removal from my credit. They took payment and denied letter removing from credit report....ONE LOUSY COMPANY.

DISGUSTED

My husband and I recently purchased a mattress for my father who is a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran who lives in a father-in-law suite in our home. After having the mattress it turns out the bed was full of bed bugs and has since bringing it home caused an infestation in my entire home.

After stopping payments immediately after discovering this and attempting to contact someone multiple times to notify them of what has happened I get a phone call last week trying to collect payment. My 70 year old disabled father is subsequently now hospitalized due to the bites on his feet and legs and the fact he has diabetes and limited circulation have become severely infected. After letting them know what happened they then let me know they were willing to offer me a settlement of this.... we have already paid 150$ on a 500$ mattress and they offered me to still pay 300$ and then they would transfer ownership to me at that time.

So basically they want me to pay a total of 450$ to infest my home with bedbugs, nearly kill my father as well as im out 2 grand attempting to eradicate the infestation they caused by not picking more reputable companies who follow state health department rules and regulations that are put in place to keep this from happening. You people should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!

I do not know how you sleep at night knowing your screw people everyday and even even after all of the profit your company is making by repeatedly raping lower income families that are merely trying to scrape ahead you blatantly disrespect my family not only not even attempting to make this right but steady still trying to get more money out of me. This is only my first stop in the many reviews I have planned as well as notifying Veteran Advocacy, BBB, Oklahoma Attorney General not in an attempt to get anything from you people but in the hopes of stoping you from doing this to anyone else.

I had ONE failed payment in a YEAR and that was because of a canceled card! I was not notified and the price I was due to pay was about $250.

Only four days later they told me me it would be $302 I asked to speak to a supervisor, who was very rude to me, then said I owed $372. I asked how the number kept changing.. the lady before him just told me $302 he said he wasnt going to keep repeating himself and HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! I only asked why the amount kept changing every person I spoke to!

I even asked him if the conversation was recorded could he listen to what was just told to me. He said flat out said no! Mortified!

World wide pandemic going on and they want blood. STAY AWAY!!!

Unsympathetic to National Crisis

I obtained their services in December 2019 with a buyout date of March 20th 2020. Unbeknownst to me, as well as other consumers that we would be in a national crisis (Covid).

The government has advised us of the importance of being mindful of saving and spending money.... mortgages, rent, loans, and finances would be on hold and not held against responsible parties due to major corporations, jobs and facilities being shut down per the government!

Acima was not courteous, understanding or flexible without financial gain to its customers. The interest is high and regardless to what documentation you have to verify your situation or loss of income, they can still turn you down and make an even bigger profit extending you 7 days at a rate of $100, making you jump through hoops once your 90 Day buyout expires and not guarantee it will be the same rate once they make their final decision.

I am experiencing the exact same thing horrible!!!!! my payoff is tomorrow 3/26 and I have been laid off since 1/15.

I still made my 2 monthly payments in good faith even though not receiving unemployment as I am fighting an appeal.. If anyone has any suggestions to resolve I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!

I was never told this is a leading company. According to my lease I can return items.

I am leasing 3items and one does not work. According to my lease I can return it to you and now I am told no partial returns. My lease does not say no partial returns. I was not informed that when I choose 90 days same as cash that in would still be making payments.

I was told by the company I went through and one of your customer service representatives only 1st payment then I have 90 days to pay balance.

Nothing but lies and incorrect information. I will be contacting the attorney general in my state.
