I had 2 tires put on yesterday. After the service I inspected and found that my rim was scratched and had scars.
The lugs covers were ruined.
They refused to acknowledge the damage. I will not be returning there.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. They are thieves.
I paid off my account days before it expired. They waited days to charge my account and since the lease expired they charged me an additional $100 fee.
I will file complaints with local business commerce as well as BBB. They threatened me that if I dispute the additional that they will open my account back up and that the lease would renew.

Policy and procedures
Acima's policies and procedures as a whole who predatory lending practices targets low income areas or minorities communities to perpetuate and encourages bad credit behavior as a whole. These so call 2nd chance finance companies are viciously in directly attacking poor people who need credit avocation to not only assist them with understand how credit works but give them an honest program and a fair opportunity to truly rebuild their credit.
90 days same as cash is great!! Paying every week is fair but charging people 200% who is forced into default by low weekly payments that is not equivalent to the initial total purchase. Is Therefore people who are financially illiterate will fall into this well bated premeditated monstrous trap!!! Now think if a consumer owes 2600 at the end of the 90 days their account balance will be 7800 which will keep consumer in financial limbo.
Now since the COVID19 Pandemic is upon us and so many consumers have experienced lost of income, overwhelmed unemployment rates and local offices are back logged because of COVID19. Acima did not have a system in place to accommodate those affected by the pandemic. Then when Acima finally come up with a so call payment deferment program, a masked email was sent by request ONLY and if you do not ask what happens to the 90-day same as cash you would have never known that as a courtesy Acima grants those approved for deferment a 30-day courtesy to pay off the loan. In event of that happening and as a 30 courtesy Acima is charging your account an extra 100 dollars outside your financial agreement that I learned about 3 days ago by an insensitive ***** manger who name is Tanner that there will be an extra $100 charge to my account.
I asked why and asked for it in writing from the Manger Tanner 1st Faith 2nd who I asked does she think this tactic is fair. Then she transferred me to Supervisor Kisa 3rd who hung on me twice on a recorded line. I called back got Karina, and she was polite and informative that lead to this complaint. In conclusion Karina did a great job but as a whole Acima sucks!!
I challenged the mangers, customer service representatives and a supervisor that hung up on me twice, asking please send me a legal documents stating why $100 dollars is being assessed to consumers accounts due to COVID19 and as part of deferment payment program. They refused to send it in writing but continuously asking me for $100. Consumers should have been made aware of any extra charges that may occur due to any situation. You can not charge someone and not give them the opportunity to accept or decline the extra charges.
I paid balance off within the 90 days.
After going back and forward with representatives that had little to no information on how to process accounts due to covid19. I would not recommend Acima.

Please avoid using this company, I was advised that I had 90 days with no interest and after the remainder balabce would be paid in installments. After the 90 days they charged an additional $2200...they are charging over 100% interest on my $900 remaining balance. I didn't even need to use them I have a 758 credit score, the sales man offered it and the 90 days interest free sounded good at the time..

Zero stars!!!!! I was financed through Acima for some furniture and was told it was a lease/rent to own and whenever I was ready to return the furniture all I had to do was call and they would come and pick it up.
Well Iost my job and called them to come and pick up the furniture. Id had it for a no more than 3 months at that time. The furniture was still brand new. I called and they told me to send in pictures of the furniture to an email address.
I did! One of the items were bedroom sets that did not include the mattress. I purchased my mattresses separately. Every time I sent a picture they would respond with back the camera up take a picture from this angle and I did!
Then they responded with take a picture of the mattresses I informed them that the mattresses were not theirs; they were not part of the deal. They continued to request pictures of the mattresses and would not come and pick up the merchandise. Then of course the payment became late because I didnt have the money to pay! I continually asked them to come and pick the stuff up and they didnt.
I think this is a scam and a game they play to avoid taking the merchandise back. Mind you what if I dont have a camera phone? I was never told Id have to have a photo shoot before they came to get their items. Anyway they never came to get the stuff and reported this to my credit as a charge off!
This should be illegal. Then they emailed me recently and offered me a settlement offer. I told them I would settle if they took this off my credit because they never adhered to their agreement to come snd pick up the furniture when I wanted it returned. They refused to take it off my credit so I did not pay.
This is so undesirable!
They are making false claims; they will not pick up the items as promised. They scam you and ruin your credit in the process

I purchased a living room set for approximately 2000 dollars the crooks at acima credit charged me double the amount (4000) they told me it was my fault because I signed up with them .. At no time did the furniture salesman tell me that I would be changed 4000 dollars for a 2000 dollar set .Don't do business with these crooks!!!?

I was advised the seller would contact Acima to see what options are available.
Long story short they never really got back to me other than emailing me asking for pictures which I immediately sent in 7/7/2020, remind you 90 day pay off time is 8/6, and they haven't even offered compensation or replacement or repair .So they finally offer me a settlement and then say I can't use them anymore as if I damaged the furniture and delivered it to myself. Mad that they bullied me into accepting something because I refuse to pay more than the 90 day amount .

Called Acima to make early pay off. Paid the amount that I was told, because on their website it doesnt tell you what your early payoff amount is.
Now two weeks later a manager called me saying I still owe $64 because I was told the incorrect amount.
I paid what they told me I had to pay, and thats all they will get from. Beware when dealing with these guys keep every communication they send you because you will need it later.

Jewlry Store purchase ring,was not informed it was a lease for an extension to end of 90 day loan due to coronavirus. It was then I was informed this ring from Grand Jewleler in Arundel Mills Mall was a lease.
I never signed for this kind of agreement because what they do is the deceptively charge you 100 percent upcharge to your account which mine originally being $900 which they charged $2000 making this amount to a payoff unsustainable,What a rip off by this company. I explained that because of coronavirus well in advance and that I needed extenstion Maryland is closed down do to corona virus,they didn't care.
Any consumer protection advocates or Federal representatives in Consumer regulations please look into these deceptive practices Acima is using to deceive the poor people in America, This is not the American way,No one ask for this pandemic. People stay far away from this company

Disappointed
With what is going on in world with Covid I called on two different occasions to have my 90 same as cash extended for just 30Days.
I called at the end of sixty day to see if they had a plan to assist consumers and I was told I would have to pay a fee.
I called again. At the 86th day and was told the same.
No concessions without being penalized significantly.
A 1027.00 bill would ultimately cost me 1550.00. Why would they do this NOW!
I have use Acima multiple times and have ALWAYS paid in full within the 90 days.
I was polite each time I called and said I would NEVER use their service if that was how they are responding to customers in this time of uncertainty.
I was not referred to a manger for intervention.
Obviously they told everyone to say the same thing.
I will use SNAP if I need to from now on and I mean that.
Im not angry just disappointed by the insensitivity of the company during such a hardship time.
Please note. Im an educated professional who simply needed assistance for a short time.
